In the hotel room, MP3 just couldn't help himself and broke into song (and dance) to one of his favorites. In the car he usually asks for "Day-Mafhue-Sand" (Dave Matthews Band). Which usually means that he wants to hear, "Wuh-fu Baby" Which is really, "You and Me Together." Anyway, the other favorite is, "Nites-a-be" or "Tonight's Gonna Be a Good Night" by the Black Eyed Peas. Here's just a taste:
As we put, "Glee" on, he got so moved by the music he had to exclaim:
We found this cute little Zoo in the middle of a park in Paramus. It was free since it was off season, but it was still great. There was a great playground with sections for all different ages right across the street in the park too. MP3 loved it! So much so we went back the next day.
Posing so we could text Dada a picture at work.
The Playground
Loving the sunshine. It got to be 70 this day!
It really wiped him out!
Checking out the geese through the wall of the covered bridge. He was fascinated by them. They were very noisy.
I found this animal amazing, but MP3 didn't so much. He wasn't out the second day we were there but he was running around the first day. MP3 called him, "Big Smile." But did not want to see him again.
He just recently got into climbing.
Michael LOVES "noctuhnah a-uh-mals" (nocturnal animals) and just couldn't wait to see the owls.
(One of his bedtime stories is about Elmo wanting to be a nocturnal animal so he could stay up all night.)
Checking out the lion.
Cow!
Our last day in NJ, as well as our second day at the park, I finally decided to look for Geochaches. I don't know what took me so long to think of it. But, anyway, we found one in the woods in the park. This is the first one that MP3 was there for while being old enough to kind of understand what was going on. It was a big one and we weren't really prepared for it. The only think I really had on me to trade was his red boat that he got from the dentist the week before. Just a small plastic boat. To tell you the truth, he didn't really like it all that much. The only reason I picked it for him was because he made up a song that he would sing in the morning called, "Muuuuseuum Red-Boat!" So, anyway he was totally willing to trade the red boat for a red bell that was in the cache.
With the Geocache
With his new red bell and his pinwheel from the zoo gift shop.
P.S. Michael just saw these pictures and said, "the geocache!"
