My Sweet, Cuddly Baby Boy!

So first you need to know that the "basin" (basement) is MP3's favorite place in the house -- hands down!!! He asks to go down there all day every day to play the "dums" (drums) and "blls" (pinball machine and Foosball table). Anyway, Mike asked him if he wanted to go down tonight and, of course, he snapped to and ran to the foyer. The funny thing, though, was that he passed off the basement door and ran to the office door and said, "cose!" (close) and closed the door then went to the basement door. (I just thought that was funny.) Then he turned to me in the kitchen doorway and ran over and pulled my arm down so I would crouch down to him. He gave me a huge hug, asked, "kiss?" (so how could I resist?!) then proceeded to the basement. My goodness!!! What an awesome kid!!!

Muscles and Cranberry Juice

MP3's latest is showing off his muscles...



Did you ever have real cranberry juice. Ya know, not "cocktail" with all the sweet stuff added, the real, raw thing. For some reason MP3 won't drink apple juice, orange juice or any sweet drink, but this, well just check it out.... (He'll do anything for a laugh!)

Play Date at MP3's Take Two

So, MP3's friends that didn't have croup (knowingly) came over for another playdate. It was a beautiful day and everyone brought such yummy stuff to go along with the burgers on the grill.

Everyone had such a great time outside, (except when Liza wouldn't let MP3 run out into the road).

Nate was all into the sippy cups.....

but, thankfully, was willing to let MP3 drink out of his own. : )

After a long nap and some dinner, he all dressed up and ready to go to the Tot Lot.

Once he got there he just ran in circles chasing the "wawwkin' boads" (walkin' birds).

Just Plain Cute

Sorry! No pictures, no videos. Just had to share that MP3 learned how to give Eskimo kisses yesterday! You should see him shaking his head back and forth so far with that big smile of his. Just too cute!!!

Beautiful Day!

Just wanted to share some cute videos from today.  I opened the glass doors out to our deck this morning and MP3 wouldn't stop asking to go outside all through breakfast. 

Apparently, he has an issue with dandelions.  After counting them (one, two, fwee, sick) he spent about 2 minutes trying to stomp/press this thing out. 


He made his way to the driveway where he's never just roamed before.  I think he didn't quite know what to do with himself, hence the walking in circles.  Then was so proud of himself that he recognized the garage.


He had such a great time he didn't want to come in all day.  ALL DAY!  We went out in the car for a bit and cried when we came home and I closed the garage door so I took him for a ride in his stroller.  (After all, it was nap time.) Then cried again when we made came back in.  Then later just couldn't understand why we couldn't go out in the rain.  Poor kid!

Playdate at MP3's

Yesterday we had a playdate at our house. We had a BLAST despite the fact that MP3 refused to nap. I was so proud of him. I was curious how he would be with sharing all his things with his friends. He was GREAT!!! In fact, he was showing them around the house. He was too cute! His chair and guitar were the biggest hits today. Here are some photos from this fun time.

Fun At Oly's

Today we had great fun at Oly's house!  So much fun that I didn't take too many pictures or videos as usual.  But I did manage to capture this moment of MP3 and Oly playing the keyboard.  Look out, Rick Astley! (Ya gotta love their dance moves!)



This one show's Michael's true artistry at work. I love how he goes from those frantic fingers to just using his two index fingers so gently.



BTW, he slept and slept after we left. I had to wake him for a late dinner that he was a zombie through and actually asked to go to sleep. He was exhausted. A great day was had by all!!!
